Do you accept insurance?
We are a private-pay practice and do not participate in any insurance networks.
For clients with out-of-network benefits, we provide monthly superbills that you may submit directly to your insurance for potential reimbursement, depending on your policy. We recommend reaching out to your insurance provider directly to confirm your out-of-network coverage and reimbursement options. Learn more about superbills and out-of-network providers.
What are your fees?
Session fees vary depending on the provider, service type, and duration. We’ll review fee information with you during our initial call.
Where are your clinicians licensed to provide care?
Our clinicians are licensed to practice in New York (where our office is based), as well as in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Residents of these states can access our teletherapy services.
Do you offer in-person or teletherapy services?
Yes, we offer both. While we really enjoy meeting clients face-to-face at our NYC office, we also offer teletherapy sessions through Zoom for Healthcare, which is a secure and HIPAA-compliant platform.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We ask for 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.
What if I’m unsure about what’s right for me?
During our initial call and throughout the consultation process, we will guide you in finding the best fit for your needs. Our goal is to support you in determining the right approach to begin your therapeutic journey.
How do I get started?
Please email us at info@citybehavioralhealth.com to get started. We’ll begin with an initial phone call to better understand your needs, followed by a consultation–either in person or via Zoom, depending on what’s most convenient for you.
