Juliane (Jules) Jonas, LCSW

(she/her)

Admissions Director & Senior Clinician

Jules is the Admissions Director and Senior Clinician at City Behavioral Health. As a highly skilled behavioral clinician, she is passionate about empowering adolescents and emerging adults to build insight, develop practical skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

Jules has extensive experience working with individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. Her clinical work is grounded in evidence-based behavioral therapies, with a strong foundation in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She has significant experience providing individual and group therapy, as well as crisis intervention. Jules is particularly passionate about supporting individuals facing trauma, addiction, anxiety, and those struggling with the transition to independent adulthood. While she is trained in harm reduction psychotherapy, she also has extensive experience working with clients dedicated to long-term recovery.

As an integrative clinician, Jules meets clients where they are, creating a safe, supportive space for reflection and growth. Known for her compassionate yet direct style and sense of humor, she excels at engaging adolescents and emerging adults—especially those hesitant to fully participate in therapy. Jules approaches her work with a non-judgmental, non-pathologizing stance, combining creativity, humor, and authenticity to foster a therapeutic environment that is both grounded and welcoming.
