Superbills and Out-of-Network Providers

What is an out-of-network provider?

An out-of-network provider is a healthcare professional or facility that does not have a contract with your insurance provider. While this means City Behavioral Health doesn’t directly bill your insurance for services, you may still be able to receive partial reimbursement for the cost of your care through out-of-network benefits.

It’s important to check with your insurance provider to understand what your specific plan covers.

What Is a superbill?

A superbill is a detailed invoice we provide to you on a monthly basis. It includes all the necessary information your insurance provider needs to process a claim for reimbursement. After receiving your superbill, you can submit it to your insurance provider, who will review it and determine the amount they will reimburse you based on your out-of-network benefits

What payment methods do you accept?

We securely store a credit card on file through a HIPAA-compliant, encrypted portal. Payments are typically processed at the end of each week.
